- Spellbound, Kate Hoffmann
Sinopse:
Kelsey Quinn was well aware she was different. She lived alone in an
old house, she mixed herbal remedies and came from a long line of
powerful witches. But that didn't mean the Town Council had a right to
run her out of town, or to use the new sheriff, Will Ross, to help them
do it. Kelsey was prepared to fight.
Only Will seemed more interested in her than in securing his new
position. And for the first time, Kelsey felt like someone was on her
side, like someone believed in her. It was a feeling more powerful than
any potion she could ever concoct. But was his spell making her blind to
Will's true motives?
- Melting the M.D., Tanya Michaels
Sinopse:
All Meg Nichols needed to prove herself as an event planner was for
this weekend's society wedding in the Texas Hill Country to go smoothly.
Then things started to go wrong. The maid of honor's tan turned a very
unnatural shade of orange. The best man had a skiing accident and broke
his leg. And his replacement was none other than Meg's ex-boyfriend.
Doctor Scott Creighton had somehow gotten even better looking in the
years since Meg had broken things off with him. But her career, her
reputation, her chance to be a better person—everything—were riding on
this wedding. Meg refused to let Scott melt her resolve to remain
professional…no matter how high he turned up the heat.
- The Doctor Everyone's Talking About, Fiona McArthur
Sinopse:
Zoe's Diary: I finally got up the nerve to start a conversation with the gorgeous Angus Raynor—talented surgeon, the
hot topic at the hospital and infamous heartbreaker. I'm not worried
about his reputation; after years of being treated like a china doll by
my overprotective brothers, I'm about to strike out on my own on a
round-the-world trip, so I don't want anything serious. But does Angus?
- No End in Sight, Dana Mentink
Sinopse:
Valerie Rogers was in total control of her life and her emotions.
Right up until the moment a man put a knife to her throat. Luckily, her
ex-boyfriend, firefighter Jackson Montes, chose that moment to reenter
her life—and to save it. Valerie had ended their relationship because
she'd been too vulnerable to Jackson…. Now he was the only one she could
trust to help her.
Her attacker had wanted something, but Valerie had no idea what. All
she knew was that it had to do with her only living relative, her cousin
Tyrone, whom she hadn't heard from in a week. Together she and Jackson
had to discover Tyrone's secret, before her attacker became her
assassin.
- Seduced by the Season, Merline Lovelace
Sinopse:
It’s been a long time since Sophie Hawthorne has been seduced by
anything—or anyone. Winters in Dublin, Ireland, are cold and dreary, and
without family, the holidays are bleak and lonely. This year’s looking
to be no different—it’s five days before Christmas and Sophie is still
slinging drinks at the local pub and dreading going home to an empty
flat, and an even emptier bed.
For FBI agent Clint Walker, things are heating up. He’s hot on the
trail of a prehistoric-art thief who will be the key to bringing down a
notorious drug czar. And he just caught a glimpse of the sexy blond
waitress at the bar. Who just happens to be an art student at Trinity
College and an expert in Mesolithic structures.
It’s the perfect excuse to mix business with pleasure. And Clint is determined to nail both his quarries….
... e a lista continua. Como são, regra geral, de 8 a 20 capítulos, lêem-se bem. Por isso, quando há tempo, pode-se ler mais que um hehe.
Destes, qual ou quais gostariam de ler?
Boas Leituras!
